Steel pipelines treated with insulation technology are used to ensure that the temperature of the conveying medium meets the requirements, and are widely used in liquid and gas conveying pipelines, centralized heating, municipal engineering and other fields.
It is mainly divided into two categories: steel sleeve steel composite insulated steel pipe and polyurethane insulated steel pipe. The steel sleeve steel composite type adopts a nested structure of inner and outer steel pipes, including multi-layer designs such as air insulation layer and anti-corrosion layer, and can be directly buried underground; The polyurethane type consists of a working steel pipe, a polyurethane insulation layer, and a polyethylene protective layer. Both types have the characteristics of low heat loss, long service life (30-50 years), and convenient construction.
This material can reduce engineering costs by 10% -25% by reducing excavation volume and heat loss (75% lower than traditional pipes), and its waterproof and anti-corrosion performance supports direct burial. The prefabricated buried insulation pipe technology effectively solves the insulation and waterproofing problems of high-temperature heat transmission pipelines, and is gradually being promoted in China's heating engineering. There is still significant room for improvement in the proportion of polyurethane materials used.
